Committed to Freelancing
The Face Behind Rob Palmer's Freelance Work Exchange
Dear Fellow Freelancer
Doing business on the Internet can seem rather impersonal sometimes. Are there
real people behind the site you are visiting, or is it all just bits, bytes and
autoresponders?
Well, Freelance Work Exchange is a real site run by real working
freelancers. And if you'd like to see the face behind the scenes, this is me...

"I'm committed to helping you
find work and make money ."
Rob Palmer, Freelance Writer
I've been a professional freelance for a number of
years now, working as a copywriter, journalist and author. Like
everyone, I struggled when I was starting out, and took a while to
find my feet. But after a while, I figured out how to generate more
work than I would ever need, and how to earn a very good living from
freelancing - and have a great lifestyle, too. Best of all, I now
have the freedom to spend more time with my wife Beverley, and watch
our children (Ben, Sam, Joe and Jessica) grow up.
Over the years, I've worked with major corporations
such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola and Compaq, as well as with startup
businesses, non-profits and agencies of every size and description.
Two of my books have been published successfully, and I have had the
opportunity to work on everything from film scripts to hi-tech web
sites. I
feel privileged to have enjoyed a varied and challenging career that
has really stretched my creative skills.
Nowadays, I'm in the fortunate position of being able
to pick and choose the projects I take on. And that has allowed me to
put aside enough time to create Freelance Work Exchange.
Why? Because it frustrates me to see so many talented
people struggling to make a living online. There's plenty of work for
all of us. If you have some skills and a genuine desire to build a
successful freelance career, you have every chance of
success.
I'm committed to helping you find work and make money.
Of course, I can't promise to hand you work on a plate - but if
you are committed to developing your career, you will be amazed at
what you can achieve.
In the meantime, may I wish you every success with
your freelance career.
Best regards

Rob Palmer
